Consignment FAQ

• Joy's Consigned Furnishings provides retail space, advertising,
  and sales staff for our Consignors.
• We ask that consigned items are clean and sellable:
  No torn fabric, animal hair, odors, broken parts, or damaged finishes.
  We reserve the right to refuse any consignment.
• Contracts are for 90 days.
• The final sale price is split 50/50%
  between the Consignor and Joy's Consigned Furnishings.
• Markdowns of 20% are taken every 30 days.
• The Consignor has the option to donate or
  to pick up items when the contract expires.
  After ten days of the item being out of consignment, we will donate it.
• Consignors are asked to pick their items up within a week
  of the items going out of contract.
  Please note, after this seven days, Joy's is no longer
  liable for items not picked up or donated.
  Please pick your items up--our warehouse gets very full, very quickly.
